Important fitment note: Mounting bolts and nuts are not supplied with this step. TRA Australia recommends M8 galvanised bolts for installation. A bolt length of approximately 50–60mm commonly suits many installations; however, the required length will vary depending on your caravan or RV chassis, mounting surface and individual setup. A suitable 12V connection is also required to power the integrated LED lighting.

Thanks for the feedback! We’re thrilled you think the step is great—sometimes simplicity says it all!
So far we have installed the step, the left side tension spring does not seem to hold tight when collapsed, rest thus far seem good, yet to wire the LED’s but tested as working. We just hope the step doesn’t rattle too much because of weak spring tension.
**Further to the issue – Tra have gone way beyond with customer service and resolved our movement issue. Tra provided replacement parts, we fitted and disposed of faulty unit. Good as new! A credit to your company, I will recommend to all our Nomad friends.
